MJFMulti Jet Fusion
Production-ready parts with speed, consistency and design freedom
Multi Jet Fusion uses inkjet print heads to apply fusing and detailing agents onto a polymer powder bed, then fuses each layer with thermal energy to create strong, functional parts.
- Materials
- Nylon PA12 (most common), PA11, TPU, glass-filled, flame-retardant grades
- Strength
- High (consistent, production-grade)
- Detail & finish
- Very good (smooth, consistent finish)
- Surface roughness (Ra)
- 50 – 100 µm
- Support structures
- Not required
- Build speed
- Fast (ideal for batch production)
- Cost per part
- Low to moderate (efficient at volume)
- Best for
- Production-ready parts, enclosures, clips, consumer and industrial components
High productivity
Faster builds than other powder-bed methods
Consistent quality
Uniform properties across the whole build
Complex geometry
No support structures required
Scalable production
Ideal for low-volume and batch runs
